I don't know what a garden plotter is I'm sorry. Re: Crop rotation I think it can save you from running into things like tomato blight and other crop specific diseases. But I'm a beginner so I could be wrong.

A garden plotter is a program (electronic)which you can use to lay out your garden with on your PC...In stead of paper and pens, or graph paper...Which is what I use so I can space things to fit into my area without crowding to much. I know there just has to be an easier way LOL.

RugbyHukr has one. He put my garden on a map for me. He even helped me figure out the sun exposures and everything. I was having a really rough time trying to figure it all out.

and crop rotation is a must. there are just too many things that can go wrong and ruin that year's crops if you don't.
