wavey My Mom taught me as a girl to spray hairspray on my ink stains, then launder as usual.
It works!!!

I think it was Cindy who made a post about using rubbing alcohol to remove ink stains.

Again,it works!!!
I had to get some ink marks off of car upholstery.
I just put some alcohol on a cloth, and kept blotting it.

grinnnn very cool

I think Nail Polish Remover works for this too.

Careful with fine fabric, test on inconspicuous area. It's been a long time since I've done it and can't remember whether it takes dye out. I don't think it does, cause I have used it on carpet for ink stains and don't remember any problems. Better to be safe than sorry!

Hi duckie,

hope you re doing great.

i m living proof it works very well with hairspray, here s why:

i work at the airport and wear a uniform, white shirt, blue pants and it has to always be pure white, well you get my drift.one day i noticed my pocket pen at leeked on my shirt, twas big enough, someone told me about the hairspray and as i got long hair i always have some in my purse so i sprayed some ,dabed it and i worked after a few seconds,so i can tell you it really works.

don t that sound like one of those commercial or what!! laugh ...but true.

after purchasing a new living room suit (sage micro suade) I awoke one morning to find my toddler had taken a pen and wrote ALL over the ottoman, seats of the love seat and arm of the couch. I just stared at it while sipping on my coffee, planning my attack. I sat with a bottle of Suave hairspary and a wet rag ( I had to get the hairspray off too) and got EVERY SINGLE BIT of the pen off the furniture!

hairspray works!

another helpful hint: a dryer sheet will take crayon off the walls and makes baked on mess wipe right off pans when placed in hot water/soap for 20 minutes smile
