My friend brought another slew of mums - whew! And there's another box of 8 coming - azaleas are next - what am I gonna' do?

I do have some mums we planted in August but am I safe to plant them outside now - zone 6a (Toronto).

Now azaleas - ohhhhhhhhhh! I want them, I want them . . . and I can't wait till he brings them.

Should I go hang outside his work (where he gets them) and move things along faster? Should I take hostages? Or just be loud and obnoxious till I can get somebody to change the plants early.

Hmmmmm . . .

Already my better half is making noises - you know - those 'no more plants) noises?

Well, the mums are all in now - it's do or die and like someone said, it's better they die in the ground here than in some compost heap.

I think they'll be ok - our temps are 8 and 9 celsius for the next week - that isn't too bad.

Azaleas - whew! When those arrive, I'll have to figure out what to do. I read you can plant them anytime, but I dunno' about that. By the time I get them, the snow will be on the ground.
