I am just curious about these cute little birds. Lately we have been swarmed by them. Example: yesterday morning I got in from work 9am my feeder was empty so I filled it, I got up from nap at 1:30pm and the feeder was empty so I filled it again, then by 6:30 - yep, empty again -- three times in one day -- thats a record for them. Has anyone else seem to have hungry birdies? grinnnn

Hummingbirds are notorious for quickly emptying their feeders. I never have that many at one time around my feeders, but some folk will have a dozen or more using theirs, in which case they end up filling their feeders daily or more often. Solution? Get a larger and-or more Hummingbird feeders. Also, check your current feeder for leaks (or leeks if you
do a lot of gardening).

I always have to fill mine several times a day when they're here. I have 16 ounce feeders, 3 of them. Last summer I'd make sure the feeders were filled before I went to bed, and one feeder would be empty in the morning. I assumed it was leaking, but couldn't find a leak. grinnnn

Gorgeous birds - we don't get them in our lot, but we do see them in the park - and ohhhhh! They are so hard to photograph.

I checked our feeders for leaks, nothing -- I tried to take a picture of them, but they are fast little things. Yesterday we filled the feeders up again, took a break from yard work and there must have been about 30 of them hovering around both feeders -- what a sight clp clp
