Most definately. Franny you are in my prayers that the break heals quickly and does not give you much pain or itching from the cast.

I hope you're feeling better soon, Franny, and your arm mends well.

I also think that sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. (And I'm not big on people sueing over everything, but for a spill that big, and especially since they knew about it because they had the tiny sign, that's blatant negligence.)

Oh Franny, how sad. Here's hoping you a speedy recovery and one with no pain. Take it easy, that arm has to mend right so it can still plant in the spring.

It sounds like Wal-Mart (aka Mall Wart) was SO negligent. Yes, sue...though they should compensate without going through all that. So sorry to hear about that, it must have hurt like ****! Hope you feel better soon, Fran.
Posted By: tkhooper Re: Franny needs our well wishes! - December 21st, 2005 at 01:34 AM
Definitely sue. And heal quickly and well without complications. My prayers will be with you. I'm so glad your other half was with you and could take care of you.

Franny, prayers are going up from Iraq. It's not fun being in a cast and this close to Christmas. You'll have to play it up a bit perpl and let the rest of the family do the big dinner and all. You take it easy and get that arm better.

Hopefully, you have let Wal-Mart know already about how hurt your arm was. The longer you wait the easier their deniability.

OH NO Franny! Just in time to get out of cooking for Christmas! (Sorry... that was the second thing I thought of! idea I think I'll head for WalMart!)
Well, all is not lost... maybe they'll give you a sling too, & it can double as a bib! [Linked Image] (& maybe you'll get help cooking.)

Seriously, I know this type of thing is pretty uncomfortable, to say the least, & I wish you speedy recovery.
[Linked Image]
Has anyone said which arm is broken? If so, I didn't see it. (& is Franny right or left-handed?)

Crazy Frannie...I hope you will let us know if you are going to have to have surgery or not...I am praying NOT...and hopefully it will heal on it's own...still sending happy thoughts and prayers your way...

Hey guys. I have gotten a couple of PM's from Franny. Did not realize she had not checked in here so wanted to update. Her break is clean and she has not mentioned surgery. She has broken this arm 3 times in the same place, I believe, from what she said. Also, her boss did not want to find alternate work for her to do that she could do with a broken arm, so she is off for the next 6 weeks.

If I were her Wal-Mart would be paying me to stay home...

Agreed - WalMart should make up for her lost wages, as well as her medical bills, and suffering.

Remember when the idiot at the deli counter slammed the glass door down on my head last year at the supermarket? Their insurance company was going to reimburse lost wages, but unfortunately since I do not work outside the home, there weren't any. Hopefully, WalMart in Canada will show some integrity!

"edit" - now I gotcha, CindySueHappy!!! wink
Big lawsuit, big settlement!!! thumbup
