Well..I just HAVE to call on you guys AGAIN to help me do some HEAVY praying!!!
The realtor that I have been complaining about called this morning...she wanted to meet us and show us the 2 houses we have inquired about....so we did...and she has turned out to be a very nice, pleasant and helpful person..and I guess she does stay really busy and that was what caused the delay in getting back with us.
Anyway..to try to keep this brief.. She showed us both houses...the first one we called about that has a possibility of us renting...was in HORRID shape...almost as bad as the tin can. I just don't think I can handle another place like this one...the outside of the house looked FAR better than the inside...so I think I will mark that off the list from the start.
The 2nd house is also a fixer upper...but mainly painting and stuff we can handle. I absolutely fell in LOVE with it. It has a wonderful sized KITCHEN...and a seperate dining room and the bedrooms (2) are bigger than the ones here...Peanut would actually have a nice sized room for his play things. It doesn't have much yard..but that's okay...it has enough to be garden workable! BUT...the downfall is that she does not think the owner will rent it..just sell.
Well, there is just no way I can see that we will qualify for a loan with all of the medical stuff we have going on...but, she has a mortgage friend that is going to TRY. I would so love to be able to move our belongings here with us, and we would be able to if we had a house...so I am asking you all to please..please pray that we can work something out on this house. Even in the shape that it is in now...it is livable...I cannot even let Peanut run around barefoot here because the floors are in such bad shape. I am trying real hard not to get my hopes up...and I know that even if it works out, it will be very hard on us because we would have to come up with a stove & fridge...so I have kind of mixed emotions here....but I do know there is a lot of power in prayer...and anything could happen...at least it would be a start and we wouldn't be throwing so much money away like we are here....
Thanks guys....this has been a real strugle for me!

OMG...you all don't know how much I appreciate your support...it WOULD be a TREMENDOUS load off my shoulders...

AND...I absolutely LOVE that kitchen!!!
It's not a big house at all...but about 3 times bigger than the tin can ...if that helps you understand how cramped we are here. It is pretty hard for 3 people to be cramped...and I get so aggrivated when I run into the washer & dryer every stinkin morning coming out of the bedroom!

THANK YOU for the prayers...you guys have a way of helping things to happen!!!

Well...I have been day dreaming about the house and the benefits of it...did I mention the kitchen has a huge walk in pantry? Although the colors of the house are kind of nauseating..every room is an auqua~ish blue green kinda stuff...but a quick coat of paint would take care of that in a jiff! thumbup A nice size roomy kitchen...a nice screened in fromt porch and a big back room with a million windows for all of my green babaies!!! And hard wood floors in every room. We drive by it every time we are out...
Thanks for the prayers guys....I'm just gonna keep day dreaming!!!

Don't count on a "quick" coat of paint covering the old color either Vanessa. Unless you are going to put a coat of primer on first. This house of mine was all bright sky blue. I put on a coat of primer and 2 coats of paint to finally get it covered. And in the bathroom, I ended up putting on 4 coats of paint on the ceiling and woodwork!!! I didn't think I was ever going to finish painting. sca

Trust me on this one Lynne..these are NOT likable colors. They might have been about 50 years ago....

Fernie...I usually always kiltz first...but it is kind of pricey..so I have been getting the Wa~Mart brand and it has worked well here at the tin can. It just helps to seal in the stains and marks and ODORS!!! It also works great in the kitchen area to seal in grease stains. I am hoping to run by and get some pics of the house sometime so I can show you.

Prayers here too, Vanessa. It would be so great for you if you could get that house. And if you did, maybe you could get the stove and fridge from Freecycle or something. Let us know when you know anything.

lifting your need up in prayer Vanessa and counting on God to give you the best.
Posted By: 4Ruddy Re: Calling in the troops...AGAIN!!! - December 23rd, 2005 at 03:06 AM
Well...there is no update as of yet...I filled the papers out and took them in this morning. I almost didn't take them in because it just doesn't look good...we could not apply for the loan in hubby's name because he has been on temporary disabilty for a year...and they don't count that as income.. Duh So..we had to do it in my name...but..with us having to file bankruptcy because of his & Peanut outragous medical bills...I do not think it will fly. BUt...I was thinking that maybe if we ALL left Santa some extra cookies Saturday night.... grinnnn

I am sure this is all part of why I am in such a funk...things just don't look very promising! Thank you all for the prayers...that is the ONLY way anything is gonna happen around here! luv
