This might be it for my growing season. The NWS is saying lows of 31 degrees Wednesday through Sunday. Tonight they're calling for a low of 39, but get this. I just checked the temperature and it's already down to 32. I'm going outside now to pick my grapes and bring in my kaffir lime, rosemary and lemon grass and a few flowers I want to save.

I know how you feel...our first frost is suppose to be tonight....It is kind of a sad ters feeling, to think about it being over for the season...I am now counting down the days crit until seed starting time. I still have some clean up work to do outside, so I am dragging my feet to stretch it out, before I give into cold weather.

We had a killing frost here last night..
Every window was frosted.... and plants
were, shall we say, sagging terribly....
It's such a shame.. they were blooming
quite nicely inspite of the chilly temps..

Mu garden has been DONE LIKE DINNER for
quite a while now....

I was still planting today. I put in crocus and daffodil bulbs. Just call me very optomistic lol. they were on sale at the giant and the ground isn't frozen yet so in they went lol. I know I'm probably crazy. But I couldn't resist the thought of early spring blossoms. It sounded good to me. Hope I can keep them watered next summer. That sure was a pain this year.
