Last weekend we were out in the yard with Anna and Rose Jr., bagging leaves.

One of the neighbourhood dogs took a liking to us and we all enjoyed his antics as he stole sticks from my stick circle and carried them around the yard.

The dog returned on Sunday, to help Jeff and I:

Cadbury's a fine, energetic and fun loving animal; unfortunately the poor dog has cataracts and doesn't see well.

Hopefully there'll be more on our new-found friend over the course of the winter.

Well, Sheri we haven't seen the snow yet, even though it's been forecast but it's cold . . . brrrrooooo! - 1 today.

Yesterday wasn't bad - somebody sent a sheetload of tulip bulbs from the west coast and I was able to plant them all. But that's it for me now . . . I'm ready to quit.

I didn't think I'd ever say that, but I truly didn't feel the need to get out there today. Even if it had warmed up, I think I'd feel the same way. Guess I'm just not in 'the zone' right now.

I've been working on my gardening files, all the pictures, putting them together in little groups - I guess that's why I don't need to go out there.

Oh, I'll have one of those Rhodesian Rock Hounds -that would be great fun for when I collect my stones at the beach.

I still can't convince Skitter to pick up pine cones and put them in my tree circles for me.

Silly cat - high time she started earning her keep.
