I think everyone likes sunflowers. You have to smile when you look at them.

I got that circle around the flower by using a kid's plastic kaleidoscope viewer my grandson won at a gameroom. I used a little bit of poster putty to stick it to the outside of my lense. I used the zoom function and LCD screen and then focused in and centered the flower and BINGO! the kaleidoscope effect made a circle of smaller versions of the center flower. It is so cool I filled up my memory card with various pictures. This is one of the best I got. After i was done i just peeled the lense and putty off the lense of my camera. It made no mess whatsoever! I've got to start going to the gameroom and winning me a variety of these kaleidoscopes, LOL.

magnifies incredibly well on photo viewers
and what's this to an un~camera~savy person???

I use an Olympus D-580 Zoom, 4.2 Megapixel, 3X optical camera. They cost about $300.00. To magnigy it just download the picture to your desktop and then click o it. You should get a screen that will allow you to enlarge the picture or shrink it to any size you want. I photographed the bee from about 1 1/2 feet away using my 3X zoom. I was frankly amazed myself at the fantastic results.

Just wanted to note that I link to pictures from my imagestation all the time and they show up....so I'm wondering if there was something wrong with the first imagestation link that Thornius used.....I just posted 6 pics down in Gardeners Chat under What's Blooming Today....

I have about 8 sunflowers growing in my garden, but they still aren't all that big yet.... smile

Way To Go Pattioh,

Great rose. You all keep tempting me with them and you know I'll have to try and grow one.

That's a great typo. Looks like something I would do.

TK I dunno if I would have attempted to grow a rose bush. Mental pics of my grampa slaving over his roses--just to get a few blooms kit flw
