What an interesting and different flower!
I've never seen the yellow type for sale around here - just the blue centaurea montana. Mine are pretty much finished blooming - they go way too quickly here for me - just love the colors.

Thanks for sharing this picture - I'll have to look more carefully for one of these now!

I love them. That is just 1 plant. They get rather large. It is in my driest bed and full sun all day. The yellow glows they are so bright.

I'll save you some seed if you like. They seem to grow easily from seed. Would you save me some blue? Please.

I have never seen the blue here. I did mail order once but it didn't survive.

Donna - I would LOVE , but will definitely give that a try for you this year. They must grow pretty easily from seeds, as I do find baby plants popping up a distance from the mother plant every now and then.
