Hi All!
I just purchased a native planted called "black leaved thrift" in latin "armeria martima". Apparently it is grown on the cliffs of England and Ireland. It did not come with any instructions on how to care for it after it had bloomed i.e. whether or not to snip back the heads etc. I would really appreciated it if anyone could tell me anything on this plant if they had it.
Thanks!
Karen

Hi, "Armeria martima", needs a sunny position, it is a small ground cover plant, with beautiful little pink flowers, it grows to about 6ins, the only care for this plant is to deadhead the spent flowers. It is a hardy herbaceous plant, and will flower each year.

Enjoy it.

P.S. you are correct it is a very popular English plant, a little sweetie.
