Hello Gardeners. I am new to this. Foregive me for experimenting.. I am trying to figure out how to post what and where. I managed to delete a nice paragraph that I wrote for my new intro to post...So this will be my dry run to see how it looks displayed.

Hi RC, I have only been a member myself for a few weeks, but already feel very welcome, and have had some very helpful replies to my messages. Hope you feel the same.

Did you know you can select a signature button of your very own? Bill has got literally thousands of photos to choose from.

If you look at my post you will see a photo of the lovely digitalis flower, very symbolic for me.

Under that, you will see a Gold Bar that says 2000 Posts.

The Gold Bars get added in increments...500, 1000, 2000 and we all tend to celebrate when someone gets one!

Under your signature button you can add a quote or a saying that you like. This can also be changed any time you want to change it. Some people put really clever stuff there; others, like me, just put a favorite something from a song or book or whathaveyou.

Also, your designation as "Garden Member" under your Avatar changes automatically as your posts increase. I forget the exact order of the designations or when they change, but they do. There is Dream Gardener, Best Gardener, Super Gardener, etc.

So don't be shy about posting! Find topics or games that you like and join right in.
