A little beach combing today . . . a few rocks, yes - but, one of my favourite wild plants - ta da!

There's also a wee bit of white clover and some sprigs of that wierd stuff that grows on the beach (I just call it beach dock).

I tried beach combing once, but sand grains and little bits of shell kept getting stuck between the teeth of the comb I was using.

Looks like Butter~n~Eggs/ Linaria vulgaris P. Mill

I love that plant, it's on the invasive list
but I've never found it to be that way...
It's absolutely the prettiest flower too....

When you have large bald areas, you tend to like 'invasive'.

Oh, yeah - I forgot to say 'butter n' eggs'. Thanks for saying it and for the link, of course.
