My Oh My. The pics didn't work. They are on my photobucket page. I don't know why they didn't work. I did it the same as always.
I'm frustrated and going to bed to read. Talk at you all later.

Buzylady, you didn't have closing brackets on the links that didn't show up. That is why the links aren't working as links. [IMG][/IMG] Have to have the slash in there to close the picture url out...

On the one that you had closing brackets, it said page not found...

I copied and pasted to my address bar but didn't recognize anything. Maybe someone else with more experience will be able to recognize them...

Wondering if the rounded leaved plants might be cucumbers?

Oh thanks. I wondered why there were two IMG's. I know what most of the plants are. I just wondered if anyone could tell what they were yet?

At least you have a head start on knowing what most are. I normally plant and forget what I planted! shocked

Now you need to take either the [img][/img] tags out or the [IMG][/img] tags...

Hang in there. You will get it!

all you need to do from photobucket is copy the line of text next to IMG and then paste it - no need to manually type the line of command in or to use the command button listed in the full reply form as photobucket already has the html command in the line of text.

in fact, photobucket changed the site recently and when you click in the field it auto-copies it for you...no need to highlight the text and then manually copy it.

i copied your links and fixed the coding for you.

O WOW thanks. Instead of 'double mint' we now have 'triple mint'. Ok so I did click on the bottom link to the pics. And pasted them in the IMG line. They always end up with one to many [IMG]. I quess I deleted too many. Then not the right one.
Oh well 'I have people' watching over me. Thanks jiffymouse and joclyn for fixing me.

I think i saw petunias, amarthus, and chocolate mint. But what do I know lol. I don't know about the mystery plant.

I have started Tomatoes 'Sweet William', Banana Peppers, Egyptian Walking Onions, Red Stripe Asters and Madascar Jasmine so far. I'm waiting until after the Spring Fling to choose what I'm going to plant next. And please don't ask me where I'm going to put them...I haven't a clue.

Yes on 2. Love lies bleeding and petunias. There is balsam, lobelia, dahlias, malva and some vinca. I don't know what I'll do with the amaranthus so early. I didn't expect them to germinate and grow so fast. Some I can't remember. One I hope is a water plant I took seeds from in my pond.

your starters look great!!!!!
i like to start my love-lies-bleeding early. there always late bloomers for me, so giving them a head start gives me more of a chance to collect seeds, i get alot of the self sown seeds from the last year but by the time the weather warms up and they grow fall frost gets to them before they can seed, so its better to start em early.
have you found out what the cici flowers are?
Posted By: buzylady Re: plants I have started - February 23rd, 2007 at 02:57 PM
I was thinking the same of the loveliesbleeding. I hope they don't get too big for inside before it warms up outside.
No I haven't found out what I got from cici's. If I can remember right it had varigated leaves and a daisy type bloom and was low to the ground. I have one started so far going to start a few more. Didn't know if they would take.
My cats knocked off a whole tray of starts. Now they are stops. Trying again. Darn cats.

I am looking at your 'pots' and 'trays'. Are those just styrofoam cups and yogurt cups? I also have started tons of seeds and just noticed that I have some shooting up already! This is my 1st time starting from seed, so very excited to see they are actually germinating and growing already!
Posted By: sibyl Re: plants I have started - February 25th, 2007 at 04:31 PM
i started love-lies-bleeding lastnight! mine are also in dixie cups used peat pellits grinnnn
Posted By: buzylady Re: plants I have started - February 26th, 2007 at 06:27 PM
Yes to the styrofoam cups. I started in the pellet tray, set the tray on my heating pad (i use one week a month, oh well I'll get by), til they germinate. Then move the pellets to a plastic container(baby food packs). When the plant gets a few leaves I'll plant it with potting soil in a cup or something. I'm running out of room under the light. I set the bigger plants in the window sil. To make room. Stil I might need another light.
This is my first real year. I'm going trial and error. So far so good. I've started some coleus for my neighbor. And a few for me too.
My family is making fun of me. But I'm having fun. p to them

lol, my home teachers were over yesterday and I had a bunch of jade leaves scaring on the dinningroom table so I had to explain that I really wasn't that bad of a housekeeper. There was a reason for my apparent insanity lol. I have yogurt cups all over the house depending on how much light the seeds need for germination. So far I have 5 tomato seedlings up.

laugh my family makes fun of me too! my kids havent relized it yet, but slowly they are being draged into my obsession! grinnnn i planted my daughters fav flowers last year[pink stargazers lilys] and noticed she checked up on em more than i did! and wile she is out there she'll notice somthing else and tell me! and my son thinks he's a big stuff when i cant catch a pic of a bird and he dose! sometimes i'll come home from work and he will have a bunch of pics waiting for me grinnnn he also likes to show off his manly powers and dig a flower bed for me when he ''thinks'' im having trouble with the shouvel laugh lala

Sibyl that is so great. I can just see him out there now digging up that flower bed for you. And I totally agree with your daughter. Stargazer Lilies are fantastic.

Ahhh...thats so cute Christy....i need to get more peat pellets....ran out shocked laugh laugh
Posted By: ND farm girl Re: plants I have started - March 7th, 2007 at 12:50 AM
Question!

I see you have those peat pots in the yogurt cups, now when they get a little bigger, will you just add pot mix right to that container, or will you move the peat pots to something bigger than that?
Posted By: buzylady Re: plants I have started - March 7th, 2007 at 05:10 AM
I'll put them into a container. A cup or something for the roots to spread out in. I save the small containers(actually baby food packs) for the seeds that have just germinated. Move them to the light til they get some leaves, then pot them with potting soil and fert. Need some more soil and cups. Things are moving right along. Come on warm weather. Going to snow again tomorrow, or should I say today. It is now tomorrow.

Posted By: buzylady Re: plants I have started - March 14th, 2007 at 03:22 PM
Hi Sybl. The plants are doing great. I'm afraid I might have to bring in some of my BIG pots and pot them up. Only nowhere to put them. [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image]
