Yesterday I went out armed with plastic shopping bag gloves, and a trashbag, to dig up and dispose of the little poison sumacs I saw coming up with their white flowers...only to read the 'ferny weed' thread, today and realize that I was probably battling queen annes lace LOL!
laugh laughing at my careful removal yesterday

Any pointers for telling the difference between the two?

Thanks,
Mary smile

I realize Queen Anne's Lace is a "weed" but I would love to plant some...where can I get seeds?

jmacd - I see you're in Illinois too - where abouts? I'm in Southern Ill. Queen Anne's lace grows rampant here - everywhere...roadsides, etc. I'm sure I'll have some, and will try to get some seed for you if you'd like if you can't find it growing wild where you are. PM me with your info if you'd like.

I believe that you can get seed packets at most places that sell vegetable seeds.
