Here are some pictures I took yesterday of a "Junkie" Junco. It is ADDICTED to the seeds on my platform feeder. I took these from INSIDE my house shooting through a bedroom window.

BF counted 60 juncos, under our crab apple tree where I broadcast seed, saturday.

***uh*** is that yellowish stripe flypaper???

No, that yellowish stripe is birdpaper. I use it to capture the birds that came to my feeder. When it gets full of Cardinals, Chickadees and what not, I just take it down and throw it in the trash. :p

Actually, that is an EMPTY Niger Thistle seed tube I got for the Goldfinches. I never noticed until today that it looks EXACTLY like Flypaper. That got my imagination running wild with images of all these trapped, helpless birds. Have you ever walked into a strip of flypaper? It is a terrifying experience!
