I love fennel - I got two pots of it for 50 cents each. I also put this other 50 cent plant in it, but I forgot to keep the tab. Or I misplaced it - one or the other . . .

What is that other plant - anybody know? I'm looking forward to seeing this come in tall, right up my window - right now the fennel is about 12 inches.
I see that you're supposed to pinch the flowers off the fennel so it will not re-seed itself - well, I'd like it to re-seed itself, but I want to control just where it re-seeds - soooooo . . . what do the flowers look like? Or, will I be the first to know when they show up.
