I'm pretty sure I planted something that looked like this first picture - not sure when (definitely not this year) or where (definitely not where this is growing!) - but it's not ringing any bells!



Here's another one that someone ID'd for me last year - it grew 1 piece in the walkway from the driveway to the deck, and now this year I have about 5 pieces of it scattered in the rocks that line the walkway.


Here's the corner where they all decided to pop up!

I'm not too sure about the first, but the second looks like Ajuga.

Netty - I thought the same thing, but it doesn't have blue flowers like I thought all ajugas have?

I did once see Ajuga in a garden center with pink blooms. Were yours pink?

I think the first one is anchusa dropmore.

As you know... I can't get enough blue flowers!
Seems like I would have planted it, but I can't remember... when I get some time, I'll have to go through my hundreds of plant tags and see if it's there!

ya know... I was looking at that on the google pictures, and mine are not - they are smooth without pricklies on the ends, so I'm not too sure if that's it.

I had a cactus that looked like that first one - but it isn't a cactus, is it?
