This,
,
I now see is sprouting up next to this
which I still haven't figured out yet. Any help on any of these would be great.
The 2nd one looks like it could be hollyhock.
The first one (center of the photo) - looks like you've got a tomato plant. Did you have tomato planted near there last year?
I agree with Hollyhock for the second picture.
I just recently purchased this house, so this is all stuff that was planted. The reason we were not going with Hollyhock, is because Hollyhock is in bloom already in my region.
The first one is a tomato plant..
*if you didn't plant it, it's a volunteer*
*meaning either you dropped a tomato there
last fall or a bird p00ped there...
tomatoes seeds don't digest well*
Nick, when did you find the little one growing
that we still haven't identified yet???
Is it like been growing since spring,
or just recently??
It could be a seedling Hollyhock and will only
produce green leaves until next year and won't even send up a shoot for it to flower this year.
Weezie,
I noticed them shortly after we moved in. They are all over the border area, in various stages of growth. Some really big, some looking like they are just sprouting.
I gave them all food and will keep an eye on them. The "volunteer" tomato plant is a bonus...lol
I'm with Weezie, it's a seedling hollyhock, the one's that are already blooming are mature.
The first one is a tomato......
