I am hoping that this little toy will save my poor husband's back when we start with the vegetable garden this year...

He is so excited about having this little seed planter. It has six seed-spacing plates so he can choose the depth and the spacing when he starts sowing seeds...

Angel would rather chase its' wheels! laugh laugh laugh

Jim seemed to like it. I just hope it works like it is supposed to. I don't want it to end up making more work for him while planting...

I have one very similar to this one and it does work good.

I started using the row marker this year, It makes row spacing much easier.

Good to know that some people have something like this and like them, Pat and Mater. I can't wait for Jim to try his out...

I think this seeder looks like a toy bicycle. I can't wait to see Reyla's expression when she sees it. I wonder if she will try to ride it? laugh

I paid around $90 for it at Tractor Supply if anyone wants to know where to find one... wink

Which plates came with it?

I have about 10 plates for mine, it was given to me by my Father-in-law, I have a good FIL!!! He lets my have a lot of his hand me downs.

The one plate I don't have is for sweet corn.

The one I have is made by Earthway .

I would like to buy the "Fert-A-Ply Side Dressing Attachment" and the Plate Storage bag.

I have two of the newer ones and they work great and save time. I go to auctions so bought mine there. I have the plates for small and large sweet corn along with the others. Also have bought two antique ones. Althouth they work I don't use them much. All metal. They don't have plates you adjust the opening like on an old drill or planter. But for being as old as they are have aged better than me. Ha. Jay
