Well yesterday my sturdiest Tomato "Sweet William" went outdoors. I put it in the raised bed garden. That is pure compost so hopefully my yield will be superior to my attempts in the past. Cross you fingers for me. I have 4 more to put out but they are about 6 inches shorter than that one so I'll wait awhile before putting them out.

Glad to here you can actually put your Tomato plants outdoors already. Must be nice I have to wait till @ least the first week of June. You lucky ******** That's not fair, that you live in such a relatively warm climate. Want to trade you can come live in Canada.

The first week of June!!! Gosh, I believe I will have tomatoes ready to pick by that time. I put mine out three weeks ago.

tkhooper, I bet you will have a bumper crop because of what you did this year. I also have raised beds full of compost because I was tired of constantly weeding and amending the soil.

Happy planting to you and please keep us posted on how your plants are doing.
