i have an angel trumpet plant growing indoors i would like to know when should i plant them in the ground and do i have to cut them back when the cold hits again ????????
You should wait until spring to plant it outdoors. I'm in zone 6b/7a and I have to cut mine back to the ground in winter and mulch well and it regrows from the roots. If you are in a warmer zone, you may not have to cut it back so much...leave it be until spring and cut off the dead parts.
thanx but how can i tell what zone i am in
it usually doesn't get too cold here
Do a google search for plant hardiness zones or go up to the top of this page and click on "USDA Zones". I believe Better Homes and Gardens has a site where you enter your state and it will give you a map of zones by county
Mrs B maybe this can help you I think your in Zone 8 but I don't know what part of Alabama your in at the top of this page you can find out buy clicking on usda Zones right above the Wild Willy's Stuff sign !!
