My aunt brought this to me and asked if I could help identify it-- well naturally I told her that I had the BEST source of info in the world at my disposal so I am here now asking for someone to help me find out what this is!!

Clover...that's what we call it here.....

Yep...I just looked it up.
That's what they call it everywhere else, too!

Red Clover
Trifolium pratense L.

Cool, that's what's been growing down in my yard---I had no clue what it was called....

Rabbits LOVE it! We had a yard full of it in TN as a kid...

Well-- Mississippi has a different kind of red clover-- this is purple but our red clover is REALLY RED!! but-- if you say so!

Seriously, though, we have another version of red clover here and it is a really deep shade of red-- but the only place to find it is growing wild on the roadside-- so its a little hard to get a piece of it but as soon as I can I'm gonna post a pic of it too!!
