I bought a few Bradford flower pear trees from Home Depot (I think they're from a farm in Texas) hoping to get some shade in my back yard. When I got them home I immediatley watered them since I haven't prepped the holes yet and it would be a few days. Anyway, I noticed that there were 4 little plants (about an inch high) growing from the cedar mulch that covered the top 4 inch layer in the 25 gallon plastic container the trees were in.

I took them out of the mulch and put them in some potting soil to give them some nutrients. I've had them for about a month now and they've not really grown much, about 3 inches.

Can you help me identify them if you can. They are kind of little still. My guess is that they belong to some sort of palm species

On that last picture, they look almost like some kind of Dracena, or maybe Yucca?

Edit: I just did a Yahoo image search, and your pics really look like the yucca seedlings.

Yea.. They kind of do.. Thanks Myndful..

I'll post pics as they get bigger and maybe with a little time we'll get a better idea, but a yucca is a solid guess at this point.
