Any one have any Idea what I have here? it just started blooming, the leaves are thick and hairy like..........
It has blooms in red and blooms in yellow?/

Looks like "Butterfly Weed/Milkweed",
Asclepias is a wonderful plant for butterfly gardens

It's also very easy to start from seed if you want to grow more. Start it early enough and it will usually bloom the first year.

not too sure, but I think it's a perennial (or it reseeds enough to come back each year) I know they spread by runner and they look nice in a small clump

All I read is they resent replanting.. Daaaaaaaaaa

It is a perennial, but I'm not sure what zones. I do know the A. tuberosa is hardier than the A. curassivica. If the flowers are all orange, you probably have tuberosa... if orange, red and yellow, it's probably curassivica.

Orange and yellow .......I have I am zone 6 or 5, depends who you talk to.;o(

Definitely perennial . . . I'm going with the milk weed.

Lots of it around in the scrub off the sides of the road here.
