Is that a custard apple tree?

I don't think so. I looked up a picture of a custard apple and the foliage didn't look the same.

I don't know what happened to my picture. Does anyone remember looking at it? The pods have now turned to beautiful, sweet smelling, lavendar flowers. This is the first time this has happened. I won't be able to get another picture until I go back to GA and by then the flowers may be gone.

Maybe picturetrail is down.?????????

A friend of Ginger's looked at this tree and said she thinks it's a type of magnolia. She took a picture and is going to send it to me. I'll post it.
