Hi!!
I just planted some it is up has its second leaves..
The question is do you have to thin this or do you keep them in the same pot?? I have 4 in each pot.. Can I split them up or do I have to kill the poor little things??? Duh

Leaving the seedling nearest the center of the pot where it is, move the others to their own pots. Fill the new pots making a depression. Pop the seedlings out of their current home and into their new ones. Smooth the soil around the seedling in the original pot.

Do this sooner rather than later so that the roots of the 4 plants don't become a tangled mess that can't be undone. The rule of thumb for moving seedlings is a stem over 1" long and the seed leaves are open. Seed leaves appear first, then the first true leaves, at which point the seed leaves fall off. If the seed leaves are still attached use them as a handle to move the seedlings.
