No the cotton didn't get here yet, I'll let you know when they arrive! Thansk dodge, now about your address, you see I'm not the very organized type of guy I tend to loose things quite easily so I've pm'd you for it again!
If isn't C. spicata then it is probably in the Plumosa group of Celosia argentea. The flowers look a little thin for the plumed type. I have also never seen it get that tall. They are constantly coming out with new stuff so it is just a guess
It is right out of the fields of Arkansas. ANd needs a long growing season, so you have to plant it anytime now, keep it inside and plant outdoors in the spring..... They have really pretty pink and white flowers on them.... Mine went into the pods this time, but it snowed and ruined them, I have new ones growing now. Easy to germinate..........
Kennyso got his seeds ......he just replied. Took 10 days to canada from Penna.
Well I saw Black Cotton planted around here as an annual for the first time. It is one of the darkest leafs I have seen, really effective. I am interested in trying some next year. I guess I'll try some in the greenhouse. Any special requirements?
