I bought a new fern today at Lowe's
called a "Rowerii fern" (pteris cretica) I have been eyeing this fern for a couple of years now, always thought it looked nice with it's unusual leaves, but I was afraid to buy it thinking it might be like the maidenhair ferns and their leaves can dry up like a tumble weed! Been there done that eek

I do have two Boston ferns already and they do fine.
For now I put this new one inside my tabletop greenhouse for safe keeping just in case!

Anyone have a Rowerii fern? How well does it do for you indoors in low humidity? Does it get big?

Fern

Thanks for any help!

The Rowerii fern is also known as a Bird's foot fern or a Cretan table fern ... it requires consistently moist soil; do not let it dry out between waterings. Also, ferns are generally low to medium light plants, so no direct sun.

Cheers,
Frann
