can i start strawberries off in a pot indoors or should i grow the seeds from the ground and if i were to start them off indoors when is the best time???????

I'm starting mine in a pot, but that's because I grow them in a pot.. I'll start mine 2 weeks or so before I'm ready to bring them out in the spring.

I think it is easier to go to the store and get roots when you are ready to plant. Depending whay zone you live in, I'm guessing that you would want to start seeds soon if you do it that way. Hannah
