"Leggy" seedlings? - March 13th, 2007 at 03:34 PM
OK, I'm a first year gardener, so be kind!
I started some seeds for tomato plants and they now have (what *I* think to be) a nice set of true leaves. I am ready to transplant into individual containers now. I am wondering if they look too "leggy" or do they look alright?
When I transplant them, I plant them right up to the true leaves, right, and then wait for them to grow much bigger before final planting in the garden.
Will the transplanting cure the "legginess" or do I need to do something else (more sunlight, etc...)
Thanks,
JoAnn
