This plant looks very much like a plant that I have. It is called Rocket if it has more than that name I do not remember it. Here is a picture of mine to help you compare it. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g64/kittywarden/07_05_06_1044.jpg

carla, i think it is the same, or very close. i'd love to know the proper name for it. it was so pretty, and the bees and butterflies loved it!

I will have to look around in my flowerbed tomorrow and see if I can find its lable. Hopefully it has not faded to the point I cant read it.That way I can see what its actual name is.

I finally remembered why this one seemed so familiar. :rolleyes:
Take a look at Ruellia elegans ("Red Ruellia") and see what you think. Duh

might be. i'm going to have to go back out and look around, and hope there are still blooms. the bad news is that it will be a few days...
