OP ranlanman Junior Member R Joined: Feb 2007 Connelly Springs, NC	Hi, I'm new to this forum, and don't know if this question has been addressed before. I have several rhododendron that have had their leaves, and some of the flower buds, removed by deer. It's been suggested that I cut them all the way back to the ground and that I do it now. Another suggestion was that I wait until after they bloom, then prune them back about half-way. Any thoughts as to how to save these rhodies? Randy

Anonymous Unregistered A	i'd wait until they bloom, then prune however much you are comfortable with. you don't want to prune now, 'cause you'll lose this year's blooms.
