I have no experience with begonias but I got a Begonia fuchsioides about a month ago and I'm keeping it indoors as a potted plant in basic potting soil. Within a few weeks, the blooms were no longer bright pink- they turnd white (with just a small linging of pink on the margins). And the blooms aren't lasting as long. I thought this may have been from too dark of an exposure so I just moved it a couple days ago. The blooms are holding on longer, but the color is still terribly dull. Will it perk back up? Please tell me what I'm doing wrong!

it probly is just too low light that makes the flower dull. or it could be that the plant was given a constant level of a bloom booster fertilizer while in the nursery but now that has worn off. you could try giving it a bloom booster type of fertilizer... but mostly that should help it keep the flowers.. begonias need that boost to keep blooming. so bright bright light - not hot mid-day sun.. and a good blooming fertilizer should help out a bit. they arent winter hardy so i'd keep it inside.. unless you're in zone 10-11..... Good luck! it's a beautiful plant
