Thornius The Bird Man Joined: May 2005 Nashville, TN	You're right, Deborah. Cardinals do not occur west of the Rockies for some reason. I am in Tennessee and have FIVE Pairs of Cardinals that live in my yard all year. In the East they are one of the MOST numerous of ALL bird Species. Only Starlings are MORE numerous.
