Tulips and daffodils need a cold period to bloom, usually at least 2 months, so it's too late to plant them for blooms this year. Your best bet is to buy them already growing...I've seen them at Lowe's and Home Depot in sets of six...they also had hyacinths.

I usually plant my crocus, daffodils, tulips and hyacinths in the fall, wink . In years past, I did buy some of the ones that were already blooming because I wanted some color in the beds early in the spring. smile
