I just found a site that offers seeds for $.49 - $.99. The shipping for orders of any size is only $.99. The web site is www.valueseeds.com.

Did you already know about this site, Loz? Do you know where I can find:
Ostrich Fern
Japanese Painted Ferns
Lamium - Orchid Frost
Barrnewort/Bishops Cap ?

I want these seeds really, really badly!

I'm waiting on seeds from them too. I can't wait to get them. Another good cheap site is Pinetree Seeds . I haven't tried them, but I have it on good authority that they're good. wink I checked on Japanese Painted Ferns, here is about the cheapest place I found. They also had your Ostrich Fern . All the ferns are on sale for 50% off. How nice is that?

Actually, lol, here is the real japanese fern , the other link is too a real cool hybrid of japanese fern ursala.

You might try local nurseries. I found that my local nursery carries them, but they are "out plotted" right now and they will be ready for sale the end of March, beginning of April for about $10 each.
