TulsaRose Member Joined: Oct 2005 Tulsa OK	Christina, the bush is similar in appearance to my old Rugosa roses but that's a wild guess. :-) The tree looks like it may be a Cotinus coggygria, Purple Leaf Smoke tree.

margaret e. pell Member M Joined: Jan 2005 Rhinebeck, NY USA	Me,too, with the Rosa multiflora. They smell wonderful and you can bring them in as cut flowers and make your kitchen smell like them. I don't know the tree, I've never seen it around here.
