Okay, here is a sandpiper that I just finished for a competition (my very first competition). We were not allowed by the rules to carve detailed feathers, so they are painted on. Also here is a screech owl which I have been painting forever and was stuck with dull, but have consulted with a master and learned what to do next. I just haven't had time to work on it. But I think pretty soon I will finish it and it will have a lot more life to it.

Wrennie,
You are welcome to use any pictures I post.

I have my birds wrapped around my little feeders and can get them to even stop by for a spot of tea!

Thanks Penny,
I was hoping i had days to work on getting a really good picture, but I only got to try one afternoon.

This year, in late summer, when the babies are young and the yard is swarmimg with american goldfinch - I am going to get them to pose again.

I'm thinking Halloween props!

You WOULD like that feeder, Loz, being a Brit. What type of feed do you use: Crumpets and biscuits?
