OP Deborah L. Member Joined: Feb 2006 Southern California, USA	I had an easier idea-I'll buy one of those bamboo screens that hangs from hooks on a patio. That will fit, provide shade and will "breathe" so that no heat is trapped. I'll just drape it over the edges of the top of the enclosure. I'll be at Home Depot early in the morning and will get it all set up so that she can get out of the crate early.

OP Deborah L. Member Joined: Feb 2006 Southern California, USA	Thanks ! I'm glad to have it all done at last. I watched the sun and saw that I need to hang a sheet on one side for shade. So that's done too. And because the enclosure is on the patio, I put a chaise lounge cushion in for a soft place to sit, lie down, and groom. I call it her sofa, for fun. Thank you for all of your expert tips and suggestions !
