I got an idea from a container gardening book that I bought about having strawberry plants in a hanging basket. That way critters can't get to it and it looks pretty in the picture. Has anyone ever tried this before? Just wondering how it worked out for you if you have. I'm thinking about trying it myself, just have to make sure that I have a hook outside to hang the basket.

I also got some sugar snap pea seeds. I've never grown edibles before. Any tips or advice on the peas would be great. I'd love to try them.

i've never done the strawberries that way, but i've heard it works. the only thing is that it is harder to keep them watered.

Sure, Chermoni, I do it all the time.
If you can get Quinalt strawberries, it's even better, because the runners fruit unplanted, and look pretty trailing down.
To water I use the hose. To feed, a watering can with a long spout.
