I have had gray squirrels for a long time, but today a little red one came into the yard to eat. I've never seen a red one in the yard. He might be small but he chased the heck out of the gray ones. He charged them and they took off. My husband says that they are enemies and from what I saw today, it must be true.

Be careful because red squirrels can get into your home and ruin a lot of stuff I am told! Duh We see them at our house all the time and they are chattery little things!

We have those red squirrels in the North Carolina Mountains. They look like a chipmunk without the stripes. In North Carolina they call those squirrels, "Boomers"
