I am wondering if the garlic bulbs you buy in the store, will root and grow for me?

Dummy me bought some today.. Ps.. I planted my some onion sets in my flower bed today.
Also some radishes and lettuce.

That's the way I buy mine. Break the cloves apart and plant them pointed side up.

Mine will be ready for harvest in a few months.

Hd thought it sounded weird.. They are supposed to chase japanese beetles away.. We have many .

Ahhh...supermarket garden, one way I get lots of cheap seeds! wink smile laugh most things from supermarkets will root and grow, garlic, onion, leeks, green onions......I've even tried starting pomegrante seeds from the supermarket, took a while to clean, but had seedlings!

It is 60ยบ sunny and windy an no snow.WERE IN HEAVEN.
Bout time..

Yes i took some gala apple seeds from an apple and now have a tree about 3 inches tall..Yahoo.
YOur correct...
You missed celery ....Ken.. After we eat he tops I soak the roots in water till it roots and plant it.......ha ha .

My celery rots when I tried to make it root. Do you do anything special to it, dodge? Maybe if I just threatened my celery: "you grow roots or it's the compost pile for you, buddy!"

Have some in water right now..The leaves are about an inch tall.. It does rot a little , but it looks like humps on the side right now.
