Hmm....I wasn't sure if my crazy notion of buying a tropical hibiscus was really that great, until it started popping open hundreds of beautiful
flowers. I bought the "Santana" at a Fred Meyer's out of boredom with their "other" selections. I went thru the summer just fine, but once I brought it indoors it dropped all it's buds and leaves, so I moved it to my little library where it recovered. However....it doesn't seem to want to bloom and I discovered spider mites on lots of the leaves. I have Neem, but it says in the directions, not to use it on hibiscus. So I went to a hibiscus specific site and found that they recommended Neem. Now I'm torn and not sure what to do...I don't want to kill it and I washed the spider mites off with soapy water but that never seems to work for more than a couple days for me. Any suggestions?
