That IS exciting, isn't it?

Can't wait to see it when it's a bit more grown up!

Yes, yes; this is good! Your joy gives me hope. I have a ~1", 4 leaf with growth point cutting I am trying to root with dreams of a 9', many branched tree!

Congratulations on your new baby.

I have one that started out like Margaret Describes hers. Now it is a ground cover in a 14inch hanging pot. And my main question is how I can get it to strengthen so it grows up rather than down.

lower the pot so it's below the level of the light coming in the window - that will force it to grow up and not down.

What a fantastic idea. And that will help me to water the plants on the second tier. It's been hard to get around the jade since it was hanging down.

I'm going to do that this very evening. I wanted a good look at it anyway. There were a bunch of babies in it the last time I took it down and I haven't really seen how they are doing.

Thanks again for the expertise.

I found another set of leaves today. wink Must be doing something right... the leaf that they came from is brown, looks like it's dying. Should I just leave it in the pot??? Or shoule I go ahead and remove it?

i agree 100%

if you remove the leaf too soon, you can kill the baby.
