South Lot Weed 5

I have been calling these the 'wild lilies'. I've transferred them around the lot many times.

They are good fill for spots that don't have anything.

Carly,
They seem awefully young yet????

But to me they almost look like a young
aster or golden rod?????

Have you ever seen then in the fall time/
and what they look like or flower color?
Just curious!!!

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Aster or goldenrod? Lovely! I hope you're right.

And yes, it does look like the goldenrod as it's growing. Just never thought of that. The stuff is rampant in the parks and at the beach, of course, but there's not much of it here on the lot.

Or, I thought there wasn't - didn't realize that could be it. Maybe it was just getting mowed down.

There's nothing like goldenrod to dress up a corner or two in the late summer.

I don't think I have allergies. I do sneeze a lot at certain times - could be the cat.

I once read that the only plant that causes allergies is the ragweed. It isn't goldenrod.
