This is in my granny's yard in Ohio. She got it last year, and it was pretty small in that basket.. hardly grew at all. This year, it took off like a shot, filled in the basket, and then got these flower spikes on them. The flowers are gone already, but she says they were tiny clusters of white flowers, if that helps. Here's the pic..

It looks like some sort of Heuchera. Common name--Coral Bells or Alumroot.

Oh, good - I was gonna' say that.

I have a little pot of them and they've done nothing. I did try to plant them, but the soil's poor there.

I rescued it yesterday and put it on the table garden - hopefully it will start growing.
