I think some of the leaves of these plants are beautiful, so many patterns! I'm thinking of getting one maybe, but I don't know very much about them.

Any advise on growing them inside would be appreciated!

i have one that i've had a year, and the only thing i would tell you for sure is that you need to keep it evenly moist.

Does the low humidity burn the leaf tips up at all on yours, like what can happen to many prayer plants?
That's the reason I stopped buying them, although I still like them....

Do you happen to have a picture of your Calathea?

i don't have a pic. and yes, low humidity will burn them, just like prayer plants. they are a lot alike.

that is one reason i like my calathea!
