I have had my banana plant for about 1 yr and it has sprouted up many new leafs. Now 4 of its 10-12 leafs are turning quite yellow. We recently 1.5 months back transplanted it into a larger planter. ...I do not think we over or underwater it and do not let it sit in excess water. Any ideas, tip ect.... confused :p frown

More than likely your banana is still suffering from transplant shock, since it has only lost four leaves. Give it a little more time and I'm sure it will recover. smile

Tina, did you fertilize your plant at the same time or soon after transplanting it? If so you may have burned out some of the roots. You may want to give the plant a little bone meal to help the plant re-develop more roots.
It may however be something as simple as the plant might be sitting in the path of a heating vent, or a draft, both can do a number on the plant.
Is there any pattern to the plants leaves turning, is it happening from top to bottom, or maybe only on one side? Know that could help in determining the cause of the problem.
