Has anybody had success with Green Giants? They are supposed to tolerate any type of soil, which is a good thing considering I have a lot of red clay here in NC. I noticed that they have become discolored during the winter months (more of a yellowish coloring) is this normal?

I'm not sure about the red clay, but some winter discolouration is normal with low temps ... trees usually turn a yellowish-purple-green.

Thanks Frann! I think they are starting to gain back some color now with the warmer weather.
