OP hollyspringsgirl Member Joined: Feb 2007 Holly Springs, NC	Has anybody had success with Green Giants? They are supposed to tolerate any type of soil, which is a good thing considering I have a lot of red clay here in NC. I noticed that they have become discolored during the winter months (more of a yellowish coloring) is this normal?

Frann Member Joined: Jan 2006 Canada	I'm not sure about the red clay, but some winter discolouration is normal with low temps ... trees usually turn a yellowish-purple-green.
